The BUX hit historic highs twice this week, first on Wednesday when it closed at 67,271.28 points, and then surpassed that in Friday trading.
In its weekly summary, Equilor Investment Plc. said that the BUX index's rise on Friday was mainly driven by the good performance of OTP.
They added that this week analysts at JP Morgan raised their 12-month target price on OTP Bank from HUF 20,100 to HUF 22,000, with the recommendation remaining an overweight. In addition, OTP stepped up the pace of its own share purchases, buying 32,000 shares on Monday and 10,500 shares on Tuesday, followed by 94,878 shares on Wednesday and 66,680 shares on Thursday, which may have contributed to the price rise.
On Mol, it was mentioned that the contract for the supply of oil to Mol in Croatia was extended. The Croatian operator said that they have extended the oil supply contract with Mol for one more year. Mol had previously objected to the Croatian party's willingness to carry out deliveries at a multiple of the market price, Equilor Investment Plc. noted.
