Hungary's seasonally-adjusted Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) stood at 53.4 points in November, climbing from 51.2 in the previous month, the Hungarian Association of Logistics, Purchasing and Inventory Management (Halpim) said on Monday.
The PMI stayed over the 50-point threshold, signalling an expansion in the manufacturing sector. Among the PMI sub-indices, the new orders index rose 6.1 percentage points (pp) and was over the 50-point mark.
The production volume index increased 3.3pp and indicated an expansion. The employment index edged up 0.7pp and was over the 50 threshold.
The delivery times index fell 3.2pp and was below the 50-point mark. The gauge of purchased inventories rose 1.2pp and indicated expansion.
