Two years after the start of the new coronavirus epidemic, the situation in Hungary in terms people working from home is similar to international trends. According to a survey by HR magazine Behaviour, employers also stick to hybrid working: 56.7% of respondents are likely to stay in this arrangement in the long term, the business news site napi.hu reports.
A significant proportion of companies (35.5%) plan to work exclusively on-site, while 7.9% will retain a full home office, the results of the survey suggest.
According to another survey published this week by the Schönherz School Co-operative, teleworking is now the main buzzword for Generation Z. While in 2017, young people were still arguing for adult-like treatment, today, the home office option and the freedom to create are more important to them.
Given the choice between going to the office and working from home, 60% of students would opt for the home office, but if they could organize their working hours themselves, they would spend half of it at home and half at work.
