Viktor Boczán took over the position of Country Manager / CEO of Provident Financial Ltd. as of March 1, as his predecessor, Botond Szirmák will continue his career as the European CEO of the company, the company announced on Tuesday.
The statement added that under the leadership of Botond Szirmák for 16 years, Provident Financial Ltd. has significantly strengthened its position in the financial markets.
According to the announcement, Viktor Boczán will return to Hungary from Provident in the Czech Republic to bring his more than twenty-three years of experience to the company to help it achieve its growth-focused financial plans.
Provident Financial Ltd. is part of the International Personal Finance (IPF) group of international financial companies listed on the London and Warsaw Stock Exchanges and has been a leading player in the personal loan market in Hungary for 22 years. IPF has 2.4 million customers in nine countries, and Provident Hungary has 2,200 employees serving 210,000 customers.
