OTP Leads Top 100 CEE Banks Ranking

For the third year running, Hungary's OTP Bank has made the first place on The Banker magazine’s 'Top 100 CEE Banks' ranking, the Hungarian lender told MTI on Monday.

OTP noted that it also made the top place on the national list in Hungary, and its subsidiary DSK Bank took the first place in Bulgaria.

In the 'Bank of the Year' category – which is awarded based on balance sheet data, strategic initiatives, technological developments, new products and services, and sustainability efforts per country – CKB Banka, a member of the OTP Group, won in Montenegro, OTP banka d.d. won in Slovenia and Ipoteka Bank in Uzbekistan.

OTP Bank operates in 11 countries in the Central and Eastern European region.
