Hungarian-owned Révész Trans Ltd. has expanded its warehouse capacities at two locations in northeast Hungary.
Supported by the Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency (HIPA), the logistics provider has constructed a 5,000-sqm warehouse in Tiszaújváros and a 2,500-sqm facility in Kazincbarcika. The EUR 9 million investment provides new logistics infrastructure to serve industrial companies operating in the region, near their production sites. The project is set to create 100 new jobs.
Révész Trans Ltd. is part of the Révész Group, which offers comprehensive logistics services ranging from transportation and warehousing to customs administration. The company operates a significant fleet and is among the largest players in Eastern Central Europe in the transportation of materials requiring special handling, such as liquefied gas.
State subsidy for the expansion logistics infrastructure is close to 44% of the investment costs.
The investment in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County is also closely linked to this segment, primarily supporting clients in the chemical industry.
