The Hungarian Banking Association and the Confederation of Hungarian Business (VOSZ) both congratulated the Tisza Party on its election victory and offered cooperation to the new government.
The Hungarian Banking Association said in a statement that "the Tisza Party's unequivocal victory could open a new chapter for European integration and the development of the Hungarian economy." The organization added that "we are committed and prepared to cooperate for the stability and predictable development of Hungary."
Hungary's banking sector has the necessary skill and capacity to finance the economic growth of the domestic economy, the association stated.
VOSZ also offered to cooperate with the new government on a professional level to promote a stable, business-friendly environment, they said in their statement.
"Economic and social stability, the basis for successful business and value creation, are in the fundamental interest of our country, thus we offer to cooperate in the interest of ensuring a clear-headed and supportive institutional and economic policy environment," VOSZ said.
VOSZ's mission, it added, is to support the competitiveness of Hungarian businesses and advance Hungary's market-based economy.
"VOSZ is prepared to start consultations immediately on working together to ensure an economic environment that is predictable and investment-friendly, supports growth of local businesses and the development of the labour market, and benefits society," the association pointed out.
VOSZ represents 25,000 active businesses and counts over 60,000 members.
