Another 14 people died of the Covid-19 disease in Hungary in the past 24 hours, raising the number of deceased in the current pandemic to 156 in this country. The confirmed number of people infected with the coronavirus now stands at 1,763. There are 12,401 people in compulsory home quarantine and 207 recovered. The official number of samples tested in an accredited laboratory in the country is 41,590.
In related news, hospitals in Hungary have been ordered to free up half of their beds by April 19 in preparation for a massive increase in novel coronavirus infections. It means that over 10,000 patients in need of hospital care are sent home to satisfy the government order.
