As it has been a tradition since 2005, the Diplomats Polo Cup in Hungary is held at the last week-end of May. The venue of the three-day BMW Diplomats Polo Cup is the Hungarian Polo Club in Tabajd in the Váli valley, southwest of Budapest.
The horse polo club is within easy reach of Budapest – just 45 minutes away. In addition to Austrian, Slovakian, German, Belgian, Russian, Argentine and Hungarian players, the HUBLOT international tournament will welcome team members from as far as Pakistan with over 100 polo ponies.
Attendance at the polo contest, under the patronage of one of the deputy speakers of Hungarian Parliament, Sándor Lezsák, is free of charge on Friday and Saturday – but with registration only: by phone (+36-20-448-6738) or e-mail ([email protected]). The day of the final event can only be attended by invitation or by purchasing a ticket.
On Sunday, guests will have the opportunity to try BMW cars, enjoy the Cassiopeia wines of the Jammertal Wine Estate of Villány and Nespresso coffee as well as choose from menu items offered by the Gundel Restaurant.
