MVM Mobiliti Ltd. has received almost HUF 1.2 billion in subsidies for the installation of electric chargers, the company told MTI on Wednesday.
With the contribution of the European Network Financing Instrument (CEF), four charging poles with a capacity of 150 kilowatts each will be built at 20 sites on sections of the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) road network. MVM ULTRA II 2023 is one of the European projects that will help meet the Green Deal by installing electric charging stations and hydrogen refuelling points, as well as electrifying airports, they said.
MVM Mobiliti has also signed a grant contract for the installation of electric charging stations in 2022. The funding will be used this year to build fast chargers in Budakalász, Csömör, Dunakeszi, Fóton, Kecskemét, Maglód, Miskolc, Székesfehérvár, Szolnok and Törökbálint, the statement said.
Founded in 2011, the company established its e-mobility business in 2017 and started installing public electric charging stations in 2018. Through its own investments and partnership agreements, it has already set up almost 1,500 charging points, it said on its website.
According to MVM Mobiliti Ltd.'s public report, it closed 2021 with a turnover of HUF 1.15 billion and 2022 with a turnover of almost HUF 2 billion, with losses of almost the same magnitude, around HUF 430 million in the two years.
