Hungary's László Barta won the Goldsteig Ultrarace in Germany by completing the 661 kilometer long cross-country distance in 143 hours and 57 minutes (just under six days) while compatriot Anna Örsi clocked 169 hours and 45 minutes to win the women's competition.
László Barta finished Europe's longest cross-country running race with an advantage of some 80 kilometers before second-placed Holger Eisele of Germany. Anna Örsi crossed the finish line fourth in the overall competition.
