Hungary selects candidate for Bocuse d'Or

Ádám Pohner, assistant chef at the Kistücsök Restaurant in Balatonszemes, W Hungary, has won the Hungarian final of the Bocuse d'Or cooking contest at the Sirha international HoReCa and Retail show and will represent Hungary in the European final in Turin, Italy this June.

There were 24 chefs altogether in the kitchen and tasting jury, including Tamás Széll, the European winner of two years ago, who will be chairman of the jury in the European final in Turin.

At the event, there was a commemoration about the French chef whose name is borne by the competition, Paul Bocuse, who died on January 20 this year.
