The founder-director of the series, Tamás Hámori (pictured in the middle) told the press that about 20% more people applied for the doubles-only tournaments this year than in 2016. It means that about 500 top and medium level managers are expected to partiicipate, including three Chinese businessmen living in Hungary.
The best-known participant is the President of the Hungarian Olympic Committee, Zsolt Borkai, who is also the mayor of Gyõr, the first venue in the 2017 series. The other regional venues are Szeged (May 27), Tordas (June 3), Siófok (July 1), Salgótarján (July 15), Székesfehérvár (July 22), Budapest (September 2), Debrecen (September 9) and Kecskemét (September 23), while the final will be in Budapest on October 8.
According to the rules, at least one of the persons in the men's, women's or mixed doubles must be an entrepreneur or a manager while the other person can be an amateur player.
