As of March 15, Hungary will have a ministerial commissioner in charge of developing the battery industry, telex.hu writes, referring to the official Hungarian Gazette.
The appointment of Péter Kaderják is for a maximum of two years. During this period, he will be tasked with the following:
– creating the development strategy of the Hungarian battery industry
– supporting the establishment of the Hungarian Battery Association and its accession to the European Battery Association.
– representing the interests of the Hungarian battery industry in the European Union and in international government forums.
– supporting industry stakeholders in the design and implementation of important projects of common European interest (IPCEI) and other projects planned with a domestic budget or EU support.
– helping the domestic battery industry to become an innovative segment of the domestic green economy background industry and to function as an integral part of the European value chain.
– coordinating the internal tasks of the Ministry of Innovation and Technology (ITM) in connection with the development of the Iváncsa industrial park.
