MOL ends the year stronger than ever: 2025 brought an absolute record for Fresh Corner's two iconic products, coffee and hot dogs. Sixty-six million cups of coffee were sold in the region, and 12.4 million in Hungary – the company has never achieved such high figures in a single year before. Hot dogs also broke records: 45.5 million were sold in the region and 11.5 million in Hungary, marking another milestone.
The significance of this growth is clear: after last year's already outstanding sales of 65 million coffees and 43 million hot dogs, consumption continued to strengthen on all fronts in 2025.
"We are extremely proud that we broke all previous hot dog and coffee records in the 10th anniversary year of Fresh Corner. These results not only reflect the trust of our customers, but also indicate that we are on the right track: MOL's strategy is working, and we continue to build on the needs of travelers. We made this anniversary year memorable together with our guests," Péter Ratatics, Executive Director of Consumer Services at MOL Group, is quoted as saying in a press statement.
He added that another factor contributing to the record year was that, on Fresh Corner's tenth anniversary, MOL entered a new area, serving railway passengers: "Ten years after the launch of Fresh Corner, we felt that we needed another big push to take the consumer experience to a new level and go beyond the focus on motorists. This resulted in a partnership with MÁV with the aim of serving the railway public as well."
Fresh Corner, which celebrated its 10th anniversary this year, remains one of the most popular regional players in quality travel gastronomy and is a strategic pillar of the company in the area of consumer services.
