Based on the opinions of 252 Hungarian CEOs, PwC Hungary has presented the 'Most Inspiring Leader of the Year Award'. Established in 2022, the award recognises a Hungarian CEO who is seen as a role model by other top executives in Hungary. This time, the award has been given to Gábor Orbán, CEO of the pharmaceutical company Richter Gedeon Plc.
This is the fourteenth time that PwC Hungary has surveyed the opinions of Hungarian CEOs in personal interviews about the economic environment, their own business prospects, the difficulties and threats they are facing, and the strategic and organisational responses they propose.
In PwC’s CEO Survey, which was conducted between October and December 2024, CEOs were asked for the third time to say who they consider to be the most inspiring business leader in Hungary. Based on the responses of the 252 CEOs surveyed, Gábor Orbán, Chief Executive Officer of Hungary's foremost pharmaceutical company, Richter Gedeon Plc. has won the Most Inspiring Leader Award for 2024.
By creating the award, PwC aims to promote leaders who not only deliver business results but also focus on building a model company culture, and who can serve as role models for their peers.
The award was handed over by László Radványi, CEO of PwC Hungary, at a press conference presenting the results of this year's survey.
