Provident Supports Hungarian Boxing

Predictable financial security is essential in sports. That is why it is so significant for Hungarian boxing as a whole that the Hungarian Boxing Association, which has a 100-year history of sporting success, has entered into a strategic partnership with Provident Financial Ltd., a key financial services provider in the field of personal loans. The cooperation agreement was signed in Budapest in the presence of representatives of the press. 

Based on the agreement signed by István Kovács Kokó, one of the most successful figures in Hungarian boxing and president of the Hungarian Boxing Association, and Viktor Boczán, CEO of Provident Financial Ltd., Provident will also support the Hungarian national boxing team as a jersey sponsor. The new jerseys of the national team, decorated with the Provident logo, were presented at the press event by Luca Hámori, Petra Mezei, István Szaka and István Krekó. 

Hungarian boxing has produced such legends as László Papp, Zsolt Erdei, Olympic champion György Gedó and Olympic, world and European champion István Kovács Kokó, who took over the leadership of the association last year. Provident also wants to play its part in realizing the full potential of boxing, which is why it decided to support the association.

Under the agreement, Provident will support the Hungarian Boxing Association with HUF 30 million until June 1, 2026. However, the strategic partnership goes beyond sponsorship cooperation: Provident is committed to social responsibility, which includes financial education, sustainability, helping to overcome disadvantages, and, within this framework, supporting sports that provide young people with opportunities to get a foothold, experience success, and build community.
