The fact that the time required to sell residential properties has decreased clearly shows the revival of the housing market, the Hungarian real estate site ingatlan.com reported.
Based on their data, the apartments offered for sale in the second quarter were sold in an average of 94 days, while in the first quarter it took 106 days to sell.
In the capital, the decrease is even greater, the time required for the transaction decreased from 134 days to 98 days. The best sellers - with an average sales time of 65 days - are prefab apartments. In the county seats, houses were sold in 124 days and flats in 84 days in the second quarter, while before that it took 133 and 96 days to sell. It took an average of 71 days to sell prefab apartments in large rural cities based on data from ingtalan.com.
According to their expectation, the time required to sell residential properties may decrease further due to the revival of the market in the next period. The increase in the number of transactions and prices has already started, so now all indicators clearly confirm the recovery of the real estate market.
