The Corvinus University of Budapest and KPMG, an audit, tax and business consulting firm, have signed a strategic agreement, a three-year partnership document signed by Bruno van Pottelsberghe, the university's president-rector, and Rezső Rózsai, the company's CEO, KPMG has told MTI.
According to the information, the partnership serves to ensure that the latest technologies and methods are quickly integrated into education and practical application.
As part of the cooperation, experts from the consulting firm will participate as guest lecturers in teaching subjects related to management and data science. In the course of the mutual knowledge transfer, Corvinus researchers will give lectures, trainings and workshops for KPMG staff, and develop joint research and innovation programs, the statement said.
Bruno van Pottelsberghe, President and Rector of Corvinus, said in the statement that the university sees it as a fundamental task to integrate knowledge and expertise from the business sector into its courses for its students.
Rezső Rózsai, CEO of KPMG, stressed that the common path set by the agreement offers unparalleled opportunities for mutual knowledge transfer, talent management and career development.
