Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel won the 30th Hungarian Formula One Grand Prix car race at the Hungaroring circuit in Mogyoród, just east of Budapest this Sunday. Red Bull's Daniil Kvyat finished second with team mate Daniel Ricciardo coming in third.
Germany’s Vettel, who took the checkered flag after a dramatic
and thrilling race, dedicated his victory – the second for him this season – to
French driver Jules Bianchi who passed away earlier this month after long
months in coma following an accident last October.
For Russian driver Kvyat, finishing second meant the first
ever podium appearance of his career. Red Bull teammate Daniel Ricciardo of
Australia was not able to defend his title from last year and finished third.
The current leader in the world rankings, Britain’s Lewis Hamilton of the
Mercedes team only finished sixth.
