Listed ICT and telecom company 4iG said on Monday that its unit 4iG Telecommunication Holding acquired 99% of telecommunications operator Netfone Telecom.
Netfone Telecom has a nationwide sales network, manages 106,000 SIM cards and has become a dominant player in the Hungarian mobile virtual network operator market.
Following the transaction, Netfone Telecom will continue to operate as an independent company, while the 4iG Group will continue to provide the necessary network infrastructure, technological support and financial stability for its operations, 4iG said.
