With the handover of the riding hall building, the complete renovation of Gyula Castle Baths, worth a total of HUF 3 billion, has been completed in the town of Gyula (SE Hungary). The entire facility is now available to guests, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade has announced.
According to the ministry, Hungary's appeal on an international level is constantly being enhanced by its world-famous thermal baths. Among these, the extremely high-quality Gyula Castle Baths stand out, which were renovated in three phases at a total cost of HUF three billion.
The final phase of the development involved the renovation of a special building, the nearly 200-year-old Lovarda ('riding hall'), which awaits visitors in one of Hungary's most beautiful and best thermal water complexes.
In addition to the Castle Baths, the Almásy Castle in Gyula has also been renovated in recent years as part of a HUF 2.5 billion investment, and the railway station will also be renovated soon.
According to the announcement, Gyula is becoming increasingly involved in the international economy, with the Airbus factory now producing the most sensitive flight safety devices and equipment.
