Low-fare airline Wizz Air will offer 3.2 million seats on flights from Budapest in its winter timetable, 8% more than a year earlier, flying to 59 destinations, the airline said on Thursday.
Wizz Air will operate more than 6,800 flights in the winter timetable, adding new flights from Budapest to Wroclaw, Gdansk, Bilbao, Tallinn, Vilnius, Turin and Venice, and will also fly to Skopje and Billund from March.
Wizz Air has been operating from the Hungarian capital since the summer of 2004, and the Hungarian market, including Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport, has been an important pillar of the airline's growth strategy for the past 21 years.
As in the past, it will remain a priority for the company in the future to make flying accessible to an increasing number of passengers, they wrote, indicating that next summer's schedule will also offer greater capacity than last year to meet the travel needs of Hungarians.
