4iG Group on Monday announced the acquisition of a 74.34% stake in automotive industry company Rába from state-owned N7 Holding National Defense Industrial Innovation and the foundation that runs Széchenyi István University.
SDT EGY, a project company established by 4iG Group member 4iG Space and Defense Technologies, acquired a 54.34% stake from N7 Holding and a 20.00% stake from the Foundation for Széchenyi István University.
The stake carries 75.01% of voting rights.
4iG Group noted that no shares had been sold in a mandatory public takeover bid by SDT EGY that ended on October 31, 2021. SDT EGY had offered HUF 1,789/share for the outstanding shares of Rába.
4iG Group announced the deal to acquire the controlling stake in Rába in September.
