The majority of companies operating in Hungary are focusing on digital transformation, and only 34% of them do not consider it a significant challenge.
K&H's innovation survey, the results of which were communicated to MTI this Friday, measured the most significant increase in the use of machine learning, especially in personalized offer, service and product development.
Risk analytics and fraud detection applications, as well as IT integration, are also becoming increasingly popular. The use of in-vehicle sensors and meters for tracking and performance or maintenance planning, as well as facial, image and speech recognition, also appear to be a priority area for business innovation.
Machine translation is not yet catching on, and there is no sign of any significant change in the use of artificial intelligence, with the use of cameras to analyze customer behavior and smart meters to control energy use even declining, they said.
According to K&H, the uptake of innovation is being held back by economic difficulties, with companies focusing on reducing costs and improving operational efficiency. They added that IT training for employees remains common, with the majority of domestic firms using both the internet and portable devices in their daily work.
K&H's survey was conducted between March 21 and April 11 by telephone among 360 sustainability representatives of medium and large companies, the statement said.
