Hungarian furniture maker Frontalit on Thursday inaugurated a HUF 349 million investment supported by the Demján Sándor Program for scaling up local SMEs, MTI reports.
Frontalit purchased equipment and vehicles and organized training programme for employees at its base in Vásárosnamény (E Hungary). Half of the project cost was covered by a matching support scheme of the Demján Sándor Program.
László Hunyadi, the deputy state secretary for SME development, said more than 1,400 businesses had been awarded over HUF 100 billion in the matching support scheme. He added that a total of HUF 1,800 billion would be channeled to the economy in the framework of the Demján Sándor Program.
Frontalit had net revenue of HUF 4.3 billion in 2024, public records show.
