Hungary's merger and acquisition market was worth USD 369 million in 2025, an analysis by multinational law firm A+O Shearman is quoted by MTI.
The analysis took into account 65 transactions during the year.
M+A value was well under the USD 4.751 billion record in 2024, when the state partnered with France's VINCI to buy Liszt Ferenc International operator Budapest Airport, paying USD 3.2 billion and taking over USD 1.23 billion of liabilities.
