CRU Hungary has won HUF 557 million in European Union and state grant money to support the development of a multimodal diagnostic platform in Encs, NE Hungary, the clinical research company told MTI.
According to the announcement, the development is based on the coordinated processing of blood-based biomarker analyses and digital health data collected using non-invasive and wearable devices in clinics. As part of the project, the company will develop the necessary data processing and IT infrastructure and prepare the solution for practical application and validation.
The press release says that the widespread use of the diagnostic tools developed will create opportunities for the digitization of healthcare and disease prevention. The technology will also contribute to the Hungarian healthcare industry and its international competitiveness, creating new business opportunities for the domestic biotechnology and medtech sectors, CRU Hungary said.
The development project for the early detection and prevention of health risks related to climate change is set to wind up in about one year.
CRU Hungary had revenue of HUF 1.3 billion in 2024, public records show.
