Hungary's national football side drew two-all with Denmark in Debrecen, eastern Hungary in a friendly international game that served as part of the preparations for the European Championship qualifiers scheduled to begin in September.
Denmark controlled the game basically throughout the 90 minutes. Still, Hungary took the lead in the 25th minute as midfielder Balázs Dzsudzsák beat the offside trap when receiving a long pass forward and put the ball away past Danish keeper Stephan Andersen.
Denmark continued to push forward and their pressure on the goal bore fruit in the 55th minute when midfielder Christian Eriksen found the Hungarian net from 15 meters out following a corner kick.
In the 68th minute, Hungarian midfielder Vladimir Koman sent a fine pass into the 6-yard area for Roland Varga to head the ball under the crossbar in one of the rare Hungarian counter-attacks.
The Hungarian lead lasted only four minutes as Denmark exploited one of their many scoring chances when substitute Lasse Schöne received the ball on the right side, broke into the penaly area and sent a strong shot under the crossbar from 10 meters.
All in all, Denmark dominated the game and missed 3-4 big scoring chances while Hungary exploited basically all two chances they had.
Early June, Hungary play two more friendlies: against Kazakhstan and Albania.
