CBRE, the world's largest real estate consulting firm, has opened an office in the SE Hungarian city of Szeged, CBRE Hungary Managing Director Lóránt Kibédi-Varga announced on Thursday in the city.
The Managing Director stated that Szeged is a dynamically developing city with many Hungarian and international companies present. CBRE's position is that it can build trust if it is where its clients are.
CBRE has been successful in Hungary because, in addition to its global partners, it also works closely with small and medium-sized enterprises, he said.
Deputy mayor for urban development, Sándor Nagy (representing the group Szeged’s Future), pointed out that the arrival of a large real estate consulting firm indicates that the market has confidence in developments in Szeged. Further investments are expected in the city, which will not only have an impact on the real estate market, as real estate investments are only realized when there are new tenants and customers, which will then create new jobs.
