Shortly after the resumption of the Budapest-Seoul flight, LOT announced this Friday that from the end of August, it will connect Budapest with a new destination, the city of Wroclaw.
The new flight is part of the Polish airline's building a base in Hungary, and in addition to offering a direct flight to a pleasant Polish city, it also fits well with the Budapest-Seoul flight schedule, a statement by Budapest Airport says,
From August 24, LOT will fly weekly from Budapest to Wroclaw with an Embraer 195 aircraft. The route is flown all year round and offers an excellent transfer via Budapest with a direct flight to Seoul.
Wroclaw is the oldest city in Poland, the historical capital of Silesia. The cityscape is made special by the many colorful buildings, and the town is also rich in cultural programs and attractions: in 2016, it was also chosen as the European Capital of Culture.
With the launch of the Budapest-Wroclaw flight, LOT will continue to build its base in Hungary and will also contribute to the further development of the Budapest transit traffic. Incidentally, both the Polish and Hungarian capitals benefit from the new connection, as the regional significance of Budapest and Warsaw continues to grow.
