Hungary-based ultra-low-cost carrier Wizz Air has announced that due to the current situation and airspace closure in Ukraine and Moldova, all Wizz Air flights to/from Ukraine as well as to/from Russia are temporarily suspended until further notice.
Wizz Air says they are continuously monitoring the situation and their team is actively working on providing travelers the best possible assistance.
Passengers are advised to check the Wizz Air website to verify their flight’s status before travelling to the airport, as the operating airports are expected to be overly congested due to the current situation. Those currently located in Ukraine, are advised to follow the advice of the local authorities, remain at home or seek shelter.
