Hungarian director Béla Tarr's "The Turin Horse" won the Jury Grand Prix (Silver Bear) prize at the 61st Berlin Film Festival on Saturday, in addition to the main prize of the International Federation of Film Critics on Friday.

On Friday, Tarr's black-and-white film was also awarded the main prize of the International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI).
The Turin Horse has a simple subject matter: the poor health of an old work horse that belongs to a rural farmer and his daughter, and how the horse's death effects their daily life.
