A unique undertaking by a brand: for those who lacked the space, the community or the tools to realize their innovative ideas, Telekom's new youth creative space, KraftLab, opening in Debrecen, provides all the necessary conditions for them to fulfil their potential, according to a press release by Magyar Telekom.

KraftLab also demonstrates the power of collaboration: the concept of the creative workshop – as well as the opening party program – was developed together with the stakeholders, Generation Z and Y.

Telekom Kraft is a unique initiative. It is a commitment by Telekom to change the lives of young people, to highlight the situations and opportunities where young people, together or with a brand, can achieve great things! It's a program that helps young people get into a position. All the conditions are now in place: The KraftLab will open in Debrecen, E Hungary, where the physical location, the technological background and the mentoring support will be available to help them turn their innovative ideas into reality.

The concept of KraftLab was developed by Telekom together with young people, and the framework is also shaped by successful innovators from Generation Z and Y. The newly opened KraftLab itself was introduced to the press by the young people themselves: the event was hosted by a group of KraftLab participants who have already made their mark as innovators (e.g. as game developers, digital media product launches, film directors). They have experience not only of the path from idea to investor and market, but also of the digital tools and techniques that provide the most effective support to help them scale up; of the strength of the community and the professional expertise that Telekom Kraft has put behind their projects.

The official opening will be followed by programs that are also based on the young people's ideas and creative imagination: Telekom has provided experienced mentors and event organizers as back-up, while leaving the planning and implementation to the krafters.

“For me, as a physicist, it is also very exciting that Kraft is about experimentation, constant trying and the possibility to improve.  The facilities at KraftLab are unique, and they are free to students, which is a huge opportunity. If you need greenbox studio equipment, a 3D printer, a podcast room to develop your ideas, you'll find it here. But just as importantly, it's a place where young people with similar interests and working on similar problems can meet and get advice, solutions and inspiration not only from KraftLab mentors, but also from each other," Janka Sára Molnár, who joined the Krafters as a young physicist, said.
