A delegation by the International Monetary Fund and the European Union, which held talks on precautionary financial assistance to Hungary in the past eight days, will return to Budapest in September, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has stated.
The Prime Minister said the delegation would be expected to present a "case summary" to the government that would highlight points of economic policy they believe should be changed, a list of preconditions for assistance and their views on the points, which they think should be changed in the 2013 central budget.
The Prime Minister added that after the IMF/EU team presents its views on the 2013 budget and gives a detailed list of preconditions for a financing backstop, the government would respond to that in September.
