On the occasion of the First Cry of Independence, Ecuador's National Day, celebrated every year on August 10, the Embassy of Ecuador in Hungary has invites the public to experience a special floral installation in the heart of Budapest.
In collaboration with Naranjo Roses, a leading Ecuadorian rose exporter, a striking heart-shaped installation made entirely of Ecuadorian roses will be displayed in front of the Hungarian State Opera House. The floral heart will feature the vibrant colors of the Ecuadorian flag: yellow, blue, and red.
This unique tribute will be available for the public on Friday, August 8, from morning until night, offering a moment of color and beauty to all passersby and visitors to downtown Budapest.
Ecuador is globally recognized for producing some of the highest quality roses in the world, thanks to its unique geographical location, fertile soil, and year-round sunlight in the Andes region. The country is one of the top exporters of premium roses, supplying international markets across Europe, North America, and Asia.
The installation in Budapest serves not only as a cultural celebration, but also as a symbol of Ecuador’s flourishing floriculture industry, showcasing the excellence, sustainability, and creativity of Ecuadorian exporters like Naranjo Roses.
The Embassy of Ecuador in Hungary warmly invites all members of the press, diplomatic corps, local authorities, cultural and tourism institutions, hotel companies, content creators and the general public to visit this artistic floral display.
It is a gesture of friendship and a celebration of the strong cultural and economic ties between Ecuador and Hungary, a statement by the Embassy of Ecuador points out.
