MVM Mobiliti's 300 kilowatt (kW) ultra-fast chargers are now available at ten locations, including Székesfehérvár, Dunakeszi, Szolnok and Kecskemét, MVM Mobiliti Ltd., the operator of the country's largest e-charger network, told MTI on Friday.
According to the statement, MVM Mobiliti's first project, supported by the European Union's CINEA (European Climate, Environment and Infrastructure Executive Agency), was successfully completed and on time.
The project, costing more than HUF 1.2 billion, was scheduled to be completed in 36 months from the date of the grant contract, ending in January 2025.
It was pointed out that MVM Mobiliti had installed two 300 kW units with double 150 kW charging heads at the ten sites specified in the contract.
The high-power, state-of-the-art chargers allow a modern electric car to be charged from 10% to 80% in about 15 minutes on average, and the energy thus absorbed can be used to cover more than 300 kilometers. In the project, MVM Mobiliti installed chargers at ten Auchan supermarkets in Székesfehérvár, Dunakeszi, Maglód, Budakalász, Fót, Szolnok, Törökbálint, Kecskemét, Miskolc and Csömör.
