An experienced manager replaces Eve Bader as the managing director of Roche Hungary: Martin Kikstein returns from the head of the global pharmaceutical group's Far East service center to the Hungarian capital.
Eve Bader left Hungary at the end of December to continue her career in Germany.
Martin Kikstein, who moved to Kuala Lumpur for the sake of the newly opened Malaysian service center of the global Roche Group, got to know and love Budapest during the ten months he spent here before. As the CEO of RSS APAC (Roche Services and Solutions, Asia and Pacific), which serves 17 countries in the Far East and the Pacific, he has had invaluable merits in building an organization that currently employs 750 people, establishing a diverse organizational culture - so much so that the center will won the Kincentric Best Workplace Award in Malaysia.
"It feels like I'm coming home to Budapest, but I'm also aware of how high my predecessor has set the bar for which she and the entire Hungarian team deserve recognition," Martin Kikstein said in connection with his appointment.
Eve Bader had been managing Roche's Budapest office since 2017, which has been adding new services to its portfolio over the years. Led by a specialist with more than 20 years of experience, the company has undergone tremendous changes, a press statement point out. The engagement of colleagues has increased significantly and fluctuation has declined significantly. Meanwhile, the team featuring 31 different nationalities and a number of female leaders has grown from 900 to 1,200 people.
