The Hungarian Electrotechnical Association (MEE) is organizing the 10th edition of its "What's your career path?" technical career choice festival series, which has helped more than 75,000 young people find their way in the technical world over the past decade. In this anniversary year, Budapest is once again the main venue, with the E.ON Sports Complex hosting the program. The main sponsor of the festival is the E.ON Hungária Group, which is committed to building the professionals of the future.
The aim of the event remains unchanged: to show through experience that a career in technology is a stable, exciting and promising choice. Students interested in engineering, electronics and IT can once again look forward to simulators, digital design programs, 3D printing, robotics and interactive stations showcasing artificial intelligence.
The experience-based programs help young people decide which field is closest to them based on their own experience. The festival is not only about career choice, but also about real inspiration – a place where the future of technology can be experienced up close.
New features this year include expanded professional consultations for teachers, where they can get first-hand information about dual training, admissions, and industry collaborations. Strengthening international relations is also a priority, and as a first step, the Austrian Embassy will be represented at the 2025 event. The festival will also feature a 'Future Planner' stand, where experts and psychologists from the Miénk a pálya Foundation will help children recognize their abilities and strengths through playful tasks.
The event has become a real social mission: it reaches more than 15,000 students annually and helps young people in many cities find their future locally. The organizers' key partners include the E.ON Hungária Group, OPUS Energetika, MVM, MEKH, and the MÁV Group, as well as local governments, which play an active role in the program series.
