Waberer's Logistics Segment and MVM Group have agreed on a new three-year strategic cooperation, under which they will develop a unified, efficient logistics and transport system in the energy sector. The agreement will contribute to increasing MVM's security of supply and operational efficiency, Waberer's Group informed MTI on Friday.
The announcement states that Waberer's, which provides complex logistics services, won the tender announced by the MVM Group in December 2024, and the three-year cooperation framework agreement was signed on July 3, 2025.
The project will be implemented in three phases, during which the operations of the member companies will be assessed and the supply chain will be optimized, according to the announcement. According to the agreement, the services provided by Waberer's Logistics will cover the entire range of logistics processes, including the transport and storage of raw materials, steel structures, cable drums, scaffolding systems, building materials, tools, solar panels, and various manufacturing and maintenance materials.
In its announcement, the Waberer's Group emphasized that it aims to become the market-leading complex logistics service provider in the region in the medium term. According to the strategic plan, the company's revenue could reach EUR 1.7 billion by 2031, with EBIT exceeding EUR 100 million.
The Waberer's Group is a leading European road logistics company with its own fleet and the market leader in complex logistics services in Hungary. It operates a modern fleet of approximately 2,800 trucks, 18 locomotives, more than 1,000 railway wagons and over 160 buses, and manages approximately 250,000 square meters of modern warehouses, giving it the largest logistics capacity in the region.
