In addition to musical performances, traditional demonstrations and the harvest parade, cultural and gastronomic specialities and children's programs are also awaiting visitors at this year's Villány Red Wine Festival between October 6 and 8, the organizers informed MTI.
According to the announcement, the largest wine, gastronomy and cultural festival in the wine region, which is being held for the 35th time this year, will feature the products of 30 wineries and numerous renowned wineries.
Wine and concerts will take centre stage on the Wine Terrace, while children's programs and educational presentations will be held in the afternoons and evenings on Diófás Square and Fő Square.
On Friday evening, Kozmix will perform on the event venue, followed by Róbert Szikora and R-go, and Kozsó on the small stage. A day later, the Konyha band will perform, followed by Viktor Varga, and in the evening Magdi Rúzsa will give a concert.
On Saturday, there will be wine presentations, guided tours, a children's concert and a choir, and on the same day, the harvest parade will start from the Villány cellar.
The festival will close on Sunday with a children's concert and music.
