A 32-year-old Hungarian woman has become the ten millionth visitor in the history of the Sziget Festival. The lucky festival-goer was greeted at the entrance on Friday by the main organizer, Tamás Kádár.
Veronika Mikes, who arrived at the event around noon on Friday, received a lifetime pass to the festival, a rainbow flag commemorating the exceptional event and a T-shirt.
"This is the second time in my life that I've been to the Sziget, the first time I visited the festival a few years ago. This time, I bought a day ticket and came attend the Imagine Dragons concert with my sister," she told MTI.
Veronika lives in Budapest, works at the National Bank of Hungary, likes to play music in her free time, used to play the violin and enjoys sports.
The ninth millionth visitor to the Sziget festival, which is 30 years old this year, was a then 16-year-old Swiss schoolgirl, who received her lifetime pass to the festival in 2018.
On Friday, it is Easy Life, Carson Coma and Yungblud that will perform on the main stage before Imagine Dragons.
