The concentration of the coronavirus hereditary material in wastewater is again decreasing, the National Public Health Center (NNK) said on its website.
They wrote that after stagnating in previous weeks, the average concentration of the coronavirus hereditary material in wastewater decreased slightly again in the 19th week of the year.
The concentration in question continued to stagnate in the majority of the municipalities surveyed, with a decrease observed in all three wastewater treatment plants in Budapest, agglomeration municipalities around Budapest, and in Kaposvár, Salgótarján and Tatabánya, they wrote. They added that an upward trend was only observed in Szombathely.
They also reported that the concentration of the coronavirus hereditary material is in the moderate range in five locations – Kaposvár, Kecskemét, Miskolc, Győr and the Budapest agglomeration settlements – and in the elevated range in 17 sampling sites.
