On Friday this week, the University of Szeged (SZTE) organized the traditional SZTE Innovation Day for the tenth time.
The aim of the event is to organize professional programs that strengthen and expand SZTE's existing role in the innovation ecosystem, provide insights into its industrial relations, support its third mission role, foster collaborations and ensure the widest possible dissemination of research results.
As a new element this year, a World Café methodology was introduced to allow participants to get to know the thinking of collaborating partners on a few topical issues.
In parallel to the World Café, the Snack&Talk provided an opportunity for informal discussions with participating companies and academics on collaboration opportunities and future issues, on topics such as 'digital transformation', 'balancing human and robot workforces', 'experiential workers' or 'catalysing innovation'.
Also presented at the event was the National Health Security Laboratory, a network of researchers led by the University of Szeged (SZTE), which is a research network for epidemic prediction, prevention, mathematical modelling, ecological risk identification related to pathogens and invasive species, and digital health data analysis.
