From October 28 to 30, science is brought out of the labs and closer to the future as Hungary's largest science promotion event is reopened at the Millenáris event site. Over three days, the Science Expo brings the world of science closer to everyone who is curious about the future with interactive programs, spectacular experiments and inspiring researchers, organizers say on the website of the event.
The goal of the 2025 Science Expo is to present science in an exciting way that is understandable and appealing to all ages. During the three-day event, visitors are not only able to observe, but also try out for themselves how science shapes everyday lives and the future.
The event program includes interactive demonstrations, experiments, robotics and technological innovations, as well as inspiring lectures and discussions. Visitors have the opportunity to meet young researchers who talk about their careers, discoveries and how science can become a real career path.
The Expo not only offers guidance to students and young people facing career choices, but also provides a meaningful program for families, with experiments for children, playful tasks and experiential learning.
The event is closely linked to the Hungarian Year of Science, announced on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the founding of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, which celebrates Hungarian scientific traditions and shows how researchers are shaping the future.
