Budakeszi Wildlife Park Plant Population Enriched

Provident employees, FTC footballers and members of the U10 junior team participated in tree and shrub planting, contributing to the enrichment of the Budakeszi Wildlife Park's plant population.

All this could be realized in the context of Provident Financial Ltd.'s ProviGreen program on sustainability, under which the company is also trying to offset its annual paper consumption by planting trees, according to a statement by Provident Financial Ltd.

The company says it organizes several sustainability initiatives for its employees each year. The annual tree planting, which the company is now in its third year, stands out among them. "The ProviGreen program is not just an initiative, it is a commitment to drive all of our choices towards sustainability and environmental awareness. Increasing the plant population of Budakeszi Wildlife Park is just one example of the impact we can have on our environment when we come together and take action. We are delighted that our new CEO, Viktor Boczán, has joined us in this effort and planted the first tree. As a company, we are committed to making every small step towards a more sustainable future", said Attila Horváth, CFO of Provident Financial Ltd. and founder of the ProviGreen program.

Like Provident, FTC places great emphasis on environmental protection and is proud to play a role in supporting green initiatives. The event was also attended by former FTC legend Péter Lipcsei, who is currently the head coach of Soroksár SC, the FTC branch team.

"Just as we fight together on the pitch, we plant trees: as a team, together we build the future. Every tree planting is another goal for our environment, and we, athletes and fans alike, are proud to take on this responsibility," said Péter Lipcsei, head coach of Soroksár SC. Some senior FTC players were also actively involved in the tree planting. In addition to them, about 40 employees of Provident and 25 football players of the FTC junior team took part in the tree planting, underlining the importance of cooperation and shared responsibility in the field of sustainability.
