The Tourism Summit international conference, the summit meeting of the tourism industry, will be held in Budapest on October 14-15, organizer Visit Hungary told MTI.
According to their information, more than a thousand people have registered for the event, which will be hosted by the Bálna center in the Hungarian capital. The event, which will feature renowned foreign experts, will focus on the future of tourism. The conference will be held in English, with Hungarian subtitles provided by artificial intelligence.
Olivér Csendes, CEO of Visit Hungary, emphasized in the announcement that feedback from participants shows that they have succeeded in finding exciting topics and attracting captivating international speakers to Hungary. This has attracted the attention of domestic players in the tourism sector: they are curious about foreign ideas, other nations' experiences with tourism and the challenges of the future, he added.
The statement says that the future of travel is not only about landscapes, but also about data, responsibility, and connected experiences. What will tourism be like in a world where algorithms recommend destinations, data drives development, and sustainability is no longer an option but a basic requirement? The Tourism Summit seeks practical and inspiring answers to these questions.
