Visit Hungary, which handles domestic and international tourism-related sales and marketing communications for the Hungarian Tourism Agency, has brought world-famous models, actors and content producers to Hungary. They are here to promote Budapest and the Hungarian countryside, Visit Hungary told MTI on Friday.
According to the information, Instagram and TikTok content producers arrived for the third time in Budapest on May 6 to promote Hungary and Budapest in the following days in almost every part of the world. During the three days of their visit, they will have to showcase the beauty of Hungary in 22 locations and with the help of 30 Hungarian service providers.
As in previous highly successful content production projects, the 50 or so international influencers from nine countries are expected to give Hungary thousands of impressions on social media platforms during the activity, which started on May 7.
Culture, gastronomy, tourist attractions and rural wineries and gastronomy will also be highlighted, with guests discovering iconic sites in Budapest, the Tokaj wine region and Herend porcelain, among others.
The three-day event brings together 30 service providers and five hotels. The invitation to bid for participation was anonymous in all cases, and the primary and most important criterion in the selection process was to ensure that the best bidders would participate in the event promoting Hungary, Visit Hungary said.
